Task Force 822 was dispatched to the rear of 7 McKinley Ave for a reported building fire shortly after 06:00 hours. Initial information from Camden County Communications on response was that the police on location were reporting a three car detached garage with smoke showing. Engine 821 arrived on location and reported a 20x30 one story, detached garage with heavy smoke showing.

As the crew started making entry into the building the structure became heavily involved.

FM82 (K. Young) struck the “All Hands” and requested that Rescue 84 be added to the assignment. Engine 6911 dropped a supply line to the rear of engine 821 and reverse laid out to the hydrant at the end of the block.

The fire was placed under control by the 40 minute mark and is currently under investigation by the Camden County Fire Marshals Office.
